这次的灯会设在泉州的新门街。一到新门街，只见人山人海、人来人往、灯火辉煌，街上的人流像一条长龙在街上缓缓流动。各式各样的花灯挂满街头，让我目不暇接，有红色的花灯，像红通通的小太阳照亮了整条步行街；有椭圆形的花灯，表面刻画了许多美丽的图案，在灯光的衬托下活灵活现。还有星星状的花灯，上面充满小刺凹凸不平的显得有立体感……由于今年是龙年，出现了许多龙形花灯，好像许多真龙下凡了，栩栩如生。还有一种灯，外表看上去很像菠萝，起初我以为是两个菠萝，没想到是花灯。两个菠萝外表一凹一凸，闪闪发亮，十分漂亮，只听有人说：“这两个菠萝好像真的一样。”
