这本书主要介绍了几个方面。有情绪、健康、人际关系、钱财、时间五个方面。在本书中你将会知道为什么自己会有某种行为，为什么会引发某种情绪反应，进而了解如何一步步有效地建立起积极的信念，除去消极的心态，让自己的潜能完全地发挥，以达成所企望的'人生。首先从自己做起，然后扩展到周围的人身上，你将会发现什么是你最高的价值、什么是你最期望的目标、你应该运用何种人生游戏规则，以及如何给其他的人定位。当你熟悉了建立人际关系的技巧后，便会很容易地和人们建立最诚挚的关系，并从其中获益良多。就我看来，人生中最大的财富便是人际关系，因为它能为你开启所需能力的每一道门，让你能不断地成长、不断地贡献社会。你要想有成功的人生，第二课得学的便是如何控制好自己的身体健康，不仅看起来健康并且还真觉得健康，完完全全能够掌握住自己的身体状况，使之有充沛的活力去达成所要的人生。要想在钱财上不虞匮乏，首先你要改变会造成你匮乏的原因，对财富要养成正确的认识及价值观，然后抱持这样的观念去拓展财富。任何伟大的事业都需要漫长的时间才能完成，然而我们之中又有多少人真正晓得时间的使用?在此我并不是要跟各位来谈时间管理，而是要各位重视时间的运用，不容轻易蹉跎，你要使时间成为你迈向成功人生的朋友而不是敌人。

我一直坚信，决定我们人生的关键不在于所遭逢的环境。而在于我们决定要如何去面对。其实这很简单，就是今天就下定决心，到底在未来的十年里或更后面的日子里要成为什么样的一个人。如果你不打算作这样的决定也没关系。事实上你已经作了决定，就是甘心把自己的人生交给环境，任由它来主宰。当然当你作出决定后可别把它看成儿戏，而要全力以赴去达成才行。另外重要的是不要轻易或者干脆就从来都不要给自己找任何借口“家境不好”、“没有背景”、“学历不足”、“没有机会”甚至、“年龄太老或年龄太小”。因为这些借口都不是理由，它只会限制个人能力的发挥，甚至毁掉你的一生。

其实，日常工作、生活中有很多的细节，只要稍微的改变调整，就能得到更加积极、更加快乐的感受，会有意想不到的收获。只是我们没有经过专门的训练，绝大多数人并未注意到这些细节，更想不到要对这些细节进行改变调整，甚是可惜。

人的一生都要经过幼年、少年、青年、壮年、老年。尽管人们不知道内在的能量何时才能释放出来，但对处在每个年龄段的人来说。惟有珍惜生命，把握好每一天，不放弃任何一个机会，从容应对各种困难和挑战。有了这样的心理准备就能逢凶化吉，遇难呈祥，随时变不利因素为有利因素，心中的巨人才能早日被唤醒，我们才能早日走向成功。?

我们中间的大多数人都具有非凡的潜在能力，但这种潜能大部分时间里都处于一种睡的状态，客观存在一旦被唤醒，就会做出许多令人神奇的事情。我认为志气是天生而来的，勿需通过后天努力而改进。人生实在宝贵，它赋予我们每个人独有的权利、机会和责任。我们惟有早日唤醒心中那个蛰伏的“巨人”释放那些潜藏着的、最真实、最丰富的能量、用心耕耘、坚定信念，才能最终结出丰硕的果实。
